I wonder who J.M.T. was? Edith must be a distant great aunt or cousin. I remember mum mentioning Tavistock. My niece found this and mailed it to me a while ago.

       Long day beginning at 05:00 watching Prime Minister's Question time. We both had appointments in Show Low today.  The wind blew open the tonneau cover on the truck bed. Lost retaining bolt.
