Life through the lens...

Sing little birdie

A lovely day spent at RSPB Fairburn Ings.
Very cold wind, and so needed gloves and scarves, but the sun shone all day.
Three highlights for us were a pair of golden eye,  a great egret,  which we haven't seen before,  and a willow tit.
We got talking to a very knowledgeable gentleman, who first of all pointed out the song of the willow tit, and then where it was high up in the tree.
Unfortunately no photos of any of these birds, but on the way back to the car, we were serenaded by this lovely little robin, who obviously is used to having his photo taken.

Hoping this sunny weather lasts a bit longer.
Also I started with a cold while in Cornwall, and just can't get rid of it.
Felt OK this morning, but now feeling tired. Think I will have an early night.
