Travelling yacht

Getting a boat from a to b is not always that simple, especially if the river is in a different direction!

Another walk today, this time 2+ miles from Beaulieu to Bucklers hard along the river Beaulieu and then back again. Some of Lord Nelson's navy was built at Bucklers hard and the small village remains as a museum. Just read that the Gipsy Moth IV boat we passed "but didn't photo" was the original one used by Sir Francis Chichester to journey around the globe in during 1966! Remember seeing this as a child when it was in dry dock at Greenwich. Might have to go back tomorrow for a better look!

It's a lovely drive through the new forest from Lymington to Beaulieu passing the wild horses that wander around and along the road!

Hope you've had a great day :-)
