My beloved Oslo - End of the Icelandic state visit

Another beautiful blue sky day and the waving Norwegian and Icelandic flags looked extra decorative in the wind. 

Three of the Scandinavian flags consist of the nordic cross and the three colours: red, white and blue. The Norwegian flag is red, white and blue. The Icelandic is blue, white and red. The flag from Faroe Island is white, blue and red.  The flags show the strong connection between the three countries. 

The Faroe Island flag is from 1919 and official from 1940.
The Norwegian is from 1892 and official from 1898.
The Icelandic is from 1913 and official from 1915.
