Woodland carpet

Primroses in the copse adjoining us.  These gentle flowers always look their most comfortable when they are carpeting a woodland floor.  Childhood memories, aged about 12, cycling with three other girls from Weymouth to a wood near Langton Herring so full of primroses it was difficult to walk through them!  There we had a picnic and picked a few to take home.  We could cycle anywhere in those days as there was hardly any traffic - even through the centre of town at a very young age!
