Here comes the sun ...

At 5.55am, I was wakened by the light in the sky. It was perishing cold in the bedroom - I'd left the window open last night - but I just had to get up, pad off to find my phone, and hang out of the window to get this without the glass spoiling it. Soon the sun itself will do the wakening, and I'll be up closing the curtains I can't bear to shut at night and suffering from chronic sleep deprivation.

But the winter is over, and this morning was wonderful. Freezing, but wonderful.
