Sometimes you have to be!

In a rare moment of serendipity the Tortoiseshell butterfly that had me popping indoors for the camera had landed on a pulsatilla by the time I got back :-)  A quick shot and it was off again.

A little warmer and less breezy today.  I saw several Brimstone butterflies on the wing today, including one on our patch but never an opportunity to snap one.  Basketball, gardening, food, with the latest Merrily Watkins mystery by Phil Rickman to look forward to later.  All set to an uplifting, blue-sky day.
