A spot with a view

We spent the day in the Gorge, checking out the flooding Columbia River, stopping at The Dalles, and hiking off the Dallas Mountain Road.
The main blip is of a Western Meadowlark; belting out his melodious song. The blue of the distant hills is my color for today. In the extras are some wildflowers, which are already starting to carpet the hillsides, and a cool sundog.
