Earth hour

Earth hour was fun to celebrate this year. We had some dinner guests and the kids rushed around pulling out heaps of candles and tea light holders.
Ikea has a lot to answer for in that department!
Come 8.30p., the house hold was cozily illuminated and not very dark at all.

The adults sat on the balcony enjoying one of the last (surely?) hot autumn weekends this year.
When the hour was up, the electric light seemed jarring and almost intrusive, but I am glad for it, all the same.
