pst…. they’re behind you

Mother’s Day.  Cafe Rouge was full of mothers having breakfast with their families this morning.  We’re there because Anniemay had yet another early Sunday morning appointment at Specsavers.

Then dress shopping; we have a wedding to attend in early May and Anniemay needed the appropriate clobber.  The shop opened at 10.45am; she managed to find a stunning dress, I made encouraging noises and we were all done before the tills were even open at 11.00am.  Result.  I have, apparently, passed Shopping for Dresses 101. 

Mens’ tip; it’s a lot easier if you have a decent breakfast first, preferably one you haven’t had to cook yourself.  Don’t even think about it on an empty stomach.
