Mother and baby

We stayed at Kirindy Eco Lodge. A very basic place but with an excellent tracker and a forest (part of a National Park) which is full of Lemurs, Fosas and other animals. The Fosa is an odd animal. A cross between a dog and a cat and about twice or more the size of a domestic cat It eats lemurs apparently but there were a couple of tame ones that hung around our camp and apparently were fond of shoes and our leftovers. A bit of night spotting when we arrived and then the following morning after breakfast we had another walk through the forest. We came across quite a few lemurs one of which was this mum feeding on some leaves with her baby tightly clinging on.

Back through Baobab Allee and then back in Morondova where to fly to Tulear (via Tanna)
