Some day

"Mother, will we ever get away from this menagerie?"
"One day my sweet, one day"

With sublime grace, the plastered mum assures her daughter that one day someone will buy them and they get to live out their lives in some peaceful garden, probably in West Lothian, and with luck not under the flight path for Edinburgh airport. 
Being mothers day, hopefully, someone will take pity on them.
