Machines

After watching the Princess Bride (for the first time ever!) and having put the shopping away, we escaped over to Quarry Bank Mill for a few hours.

A lovely walk through the gardens, up to the Orangery, along the river to the weir and then in to the cafe for tea and scones.  Then we wandered through the mill.  We were lucky with timings - volunteers put machines on for us to observe and were very informative about them.  It was a lovely afternoon.

We have since eaten beautiful pork/prawn and ginger 'burgers' with salad and some homemade wedges.  Soon for shower and bed.
