Hummingbird peeking out

I saw this little hummer near a pond; I think he was eating little bugs. I didn't the optimal sightings of him, so this was the best shot I got.

It is actually is a better to stay inside reading a book than outside looking for birds.....glad I got that break in the weather to get out for a short time.   :-))  We are going out again if there is another break in the gloomy day.

Thanks for the kind comments for the Heron on his nest yesterday; I will keep checking to see when they actually are sitting on eggs.....they were calling to each other or still building their nest yesterday.
