Drain Pipe Lizard

This morning Sammy was out on our back screen porch when I noticed him intently staring straight up at something that had captured his attention.

Turned out to be this cute little bright green guy perched on our rain gutter. Lucky for the lizard that Sammy was able to observe only and not do any actual physical capturing. 

These guys are a personal favorite of Sammy. He tremendously enjoys grabbing one that was unfortunate enough to find it's way onto our porch with the next step being a grand presentation to us of the still wriggling prize.

Well tomorrow is another day and I'm sure Sammy will be on high alert.
