The Old Forge (Thursday 23rd March 2017)

A diary record shot to show Mrs Blackbird seen for the first time on the recently installed second birdfeeder in the front yard, this one containing meal worm pellets. The picture is very poor but was taken from the kitchen, through double-glazed glass so as not to scare off the bird.

Bothy Band - The Blackbird (1975)
The Bothy Band were one of several bands of which the Chieftains were the best known, playing traditional Irish music. I had the pleasure of seeing them at London's BBC Paris Theatre, recording for In Concert at around this time. The Black Bird is an Air, Set Dance and Reel.
