Schmetterling

"der Schmetterling"  as I'm sure you remember.

The problem with the clocks going forward is that I now have to wake up in the dark again.  And given that I was worried about going back to work and woke up an hour before my alarm, that meant I had a lot of time of think the desperate thoughts that one is prone to consider at the darkest times.

I needn't have worried.

A painless reintroduction (apart from 500 E-Mails) and the discovery of my new role.  My colleague is moving on to another team and that means I'm now the main contact for pretty much anything that goes on on the mainframe.

There will be a lot to do and more to learn.  This is a Good Thing.
