Exploding…………….

………………..Seedpod

Autumn has arrived and the mature seedpods on the swan plants are opening and seeds are being  dispersed by the breeze around my garden.

The soft feathery material is like thistledown, with the glossy threads glistening in the sunlight just the same.

The extra photo shows an immature seedpod developing behind a large munching Monarch Butterfly caterpillar.

Thank you Freyjad for hosting Tiny Tuesday for March.

I appreciated the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s Mono Monday blip. Thank you everyone. While they aren’t covered in mud, they are definitely well used by my husband around the garden - in fact he wore them this evening to mow the lawn!
