rufous on rosy pink

No marine layer this morning, just glorious sun!
In the past few weeks I have spied this little rufous hummer blitzing in and out of the flowering trees and bushes, but could never grab my camera fast enough to get a picture.
Today I sat in wait, and the bird obligingly lingered over the bloom of the Pacific Madrone tree.
It is a good gift for our last week here in CA.
