Walking at the Hermitage, Dunkeld

Today our club walk was near Dunkeld, taking in the Hermitage and the area surrounding.  We started off by having tea/coffee and scones at the Birnham Arts Centre, then drove the short distance to Dunkeld and the start of our walk.

The view of the Falls on the River Braan at the Hermitage was superb, lots of water flowing.  The weather was unfortunately not sunny as the last few days, but a bit misty and quite cold at times, although dry.

However, we had a great walk, lots of banter, and a lovely hour in the pub in Dunkeld.

And the HG and I really pushed the boat out as it was the last night of our dancing class in Strathaven; they always finish with a party and buffet, and so we rushed home, grabbed a cuppa, changed into our party clothes and headed to the dancing.......

....... oh boy, my legs are tired now........
