Storm

Busy morning at work then off the the airport late afternoon, off to Queenstown. Left in warm conditions, arrived in windy and slightly rainy conditions. Passed through a storm on the way, which brought hail and lightening to Christchurch after we left. Pretty exciting I hear!

Checked in, assembled my bike and up the hill to Moke Lake, 25km and 500m of climbing. Pretty windy, a bit wet, and the odd hail shower. Exciting!

In 3 weeks I'll be doing double that each day, with a lot of gear. Yep, more fitness required!
