View from Tate Modern

Lovely day trip to London to meet with my old bookshop crew for lunch. Good catch up and then D and I went to the exhibition of Elton John's photo collection "The Radical Eye", highly enjoyable.

The blip is the view from the top of the Tate extension, the switch house.

On the train both ways I read "The Storied Life of A J Fikry" by Gabrielle Zevin. Set in a bookshop it felt entirely appropriate to the day and it made the journey pass quickly and kept me highly entertained.
