Peacock Feather

For some reason, peacock feathers decorate the hallways of the Ritz-Carlton.  Single feathers are stuck into glass vases which are attached to the walls outside the hotel room doors.  They are very pretty, but I feel badly for the poor bird who must now be skulking around some elegant garden with a bare bottom!
