New shoes

It is an exciting day in the Weller household when a new pair of running shoes arrives. I have foolishly signed up for the Lakeland 50 next July, after prompting from my wife. I have struggled to stay motivated in running this year, so needed a new challenge.
I therefore treated myself to some new trail shoes, these are Sportiva Wildcats. Getting new shoes is an intensive process - you spend hours reviewing them online, and then choose more or less at random. The thing is, even if you try them on, you don't really know what they're like till you've done a fair bit of distance in them. So we'll see how these turn out.
