Deklan (extra shot of Ruby)

Ruby's older Brother Deklan, growing into a handsome young man he is turning 9 later this year, doing very well in school, he is learning to speak Chinese and is ahead for his years in Math and English, he has his sights set on being a scientist when he grows up, please don't rush to grow up too quickly, we are still enjoying these young tender years of innocence.

A terribly sad phone call from Glyn's older Brother in the early hours of this morning that their Dad is not doing so well after a short stay in hospital, he has some very aggressive tumours reaping havoc and has been given a short time left of quality time, 3 months maybe 6? the consultant says "everyone is different" treatment has been declined due to age, which is understandable, dad goes home from hospital today and seems in good spirits as does Mum, a journey back home is now inevitable for Glyn, just a question of when? how soon to leave? how long to stay? 

The Grandies helped put things in perspective when we collected them from school today, Ruby running out of class  into Granddads arms, "a piggy back Granddad" she shouts! all is well in their world, Deklan then full of his days activities, none stop chatter until Mummy comes to collect them, then more serious talk as adults do.
We wait for more news now from Family, none could be worse than the news today..
