Misericords

This morning Mr MD and I hopped on a train, a tram, another train and a 'bus, ending up in the centre of Chester city.   Amongst other things we visited Chester Cathedral where I took this picture of the beautifully carved and ornate Misericords.   My extra shows the 'Water of Life' statue situated in the heart of the cathedral.     Now back home for restoratives after a most enjoyable and interesting day out.
