Overview

The view looking over the Royal Gardens, past the city towards the snow capped mountains.

My main touristic enterprise today was a visit to the Mole Antonelliana. This was originally built with the intention of its being a sinagogue. However the people commissioning the sinagogue fell out with the architect due to cost overruns. The building was purchased by the City who completed the work. The viewing platform is at about 160 metre I think and has stupendous views over the city.

Today the Mole Antonelliana is one of the symbols of the city, and features on the Italian Euro coins.

The temperature was about 25 degrees this afternoon. It must be summer, where did spring go?
