A Bedraggled Visitor.

This magpie was sitting outside my front door, calling very loudly.  But of course as soon as I opened the screen door, he walked away.

It has been raining all day, steady but nothing dramatic.  However, they shut all the schools by 7.30am, in case of flooding.  Then they were asking for businesses to shut by lunchtime.  And the shopping centres were shutting by 1.30.  All the theme parks didn't even open.

The really bad storm they predicted didn't really happen, but there has been a lot of flooding.

My hospital appointment for tomorrow has been cancelled, due to the fact the car park is under water.

It finally stopped raining about 9pm.  But then the high winds hit, and we had the odd shower after that.

It'll probably be sunny tomorrow.
