Short tailed vole

Getting ready for bed, when suddenly had to rescue this wee guy who was cowering behind the curtain. I only knew he was there because one of my cats was showing too much interest in that corner. The most likely culprit is Pip, who was my blip yesterday. Put him outside under a hedge and hoping he makes a bid for freedom once he's calmed down. Poor wee thing.
