Flower Friday . . .Fuschia

This is a bloom from my new fuschia.  It was the dark ruffled centre petals that sold it.  Gorgeous rich colour.
No time for a haiku today.  We are off to Golden Bay for the weekend.  An old friend of the forester lives in the country near Brightwater.  They did their forestry training together in the 70's.  He has also just retired so the opportunities for them to have adventures together is endless.   He and his wife have kindly invited us to spend the weekend with them at their bach/holiday house over in Golden Bay.  I don't even know exactly where and it doesn't matter.  Happy weekend everyone.  We turn our clocks back this weekend.
