Blippers at Loch Ness

We picked up Kate64 from outside Morrisons and then headed for Dores on the shores Loch Ness. Beautiful scenery on the way and we managed to park in the Inn car park. We booked a table for lunch and then walked along the pebbly shore taking plenty of photos of the atmospheric scene beside us. We could nt resist picking up a few smoothed pebbles and a few pieces of decorated pottery. Mike took our photo to remember our special time together, my longest blipmeet :)
We enjoyed our meal next to the log burner.I had fish and chips, Mike Scampi and Kate64 Macaroni pie which looked scrumptious :)
We had a drive through the mountains and the sun came out and gave us wonderful light. Just a smidgen of snow left on the tops.
We drove back down the A9 , now in the rain, over the bridge to North Kessock where we watched the dolphins and looked in the Craft Shop.
We had a take away Hot Chocolate that we drank under the bridge. No Otters today. A drive along the Beauly Firth and a quick look at Redcastle finished our trip.
Really sad to say farewell and hope that Kate64 enjoyed her visit as much as I did. For two quiet people who are usually the ones doing the listening we actually talked non stop and it felt we had known each other for ages :)
