Path to Eagles Nest

After a visit to the port of Killybegs, we headed out to the highest sea cliffs in Europe, Slieve League. We had an amazing mix of weather, rolling sea mist, rain and clearance for a while to bright sunshine, all very atmospheric!
I wasn't sure if I'd be up for the narrow path that slopes away steeply on either side, not having a great head for heights but I was fine and pleased with myself, the mist and rain surrounded us at Eagles Nest the highest point at 500m above sea level but luckily everything cleared as quickly as it had rolled in and the views were breathtaking. The sun stayed with us for the rest of the descent down an ancient pilgrims path, with views across the bay to Benbulben mountain in co. Sligo. There are a few extras today.
