Running out of time

To get packed for China and right now, lacking the motivation to tackle the job. I think a bike ride is in order and as Matthew's left his mountain bike here, I think I will take that over the fields for a change of scenery.

Went into my home town today as Diana needed a few things from the shops and we fancied a change from Hitchin - big mistake, I had forgotten what a dump it is. We may have an indoor shopping centre with a decent choice of shops but the price we have paid for that is the killing off of the high street and don't even get me onto the subject of finding somewhere decent to get a bite to eat/snack - it's a culinary wasteland.
