Magnolia

There is one Magnolia around here that isn't the pale pink-white variety and it really stands out.

An excellent walk this afternoon through new parts of the countryside around here.  Some really beautiful parts adn some bits where there were what felt like a million insects all trying to fly into your mouth, ears.  Yuck.

The pretty bits were very pretty though.

And we ended up in a favourite local restaurant for a late lunch/very early dinner.  I won't need to eat anything until Monday now.
