Shrinkflation

Today we went to the trip to get rid of some green waste and then did a shopping trip on the way home.

At Waitrose price inflation is very noticeable, cucumbers have gone from 45 p to 55 p in less than 6 months. Across the board things have got a lot more expensive as the pound slumped after the insanity of the Brexit vote. In Lidl there is some price inflation, but there is a lot more shrinkflation going on, bags of things cost the same but have less in them - doesn't look as noticeable but prices are going up and going up quickly.

Today's blip are some water drops sitting on a rose leaf. Part of the reason for the shopping trip was the rain, I'm a fair weather cyclist so as we expected sunshine and showers today we went shopping instead of  going for a damp bike ride.
