Someone else's moon

When the Americans landed on the moon, some of us felt that it was our patriotic duty to ignore the, by now, irredeemably capitalist satellite and so we refused to make use of its light - for instance to fish by or for the purposes of courting. But when the Yankees left, we started to think that it might be more patriotic to reclaim the moon. One month after Apollo 17 blasted off from its temporary home, after just one evening's work, I came home with a basket of fish and the promise of your Mother's heart.
