Dawn

This was taken at dawn this morning when I saw that there was pink reflected in the water and then looked up and saw the clouds. As usual, it only lasted a moment. This is creek that yesterday's duck was paddling past in. He was right at the sharp bend, on the left side near the bank. This was taken with the iPhone - hence no zoom. Which gives more of an idea of how far down from the house the creek actually is. Yesterday, obviously, was taken with a long lens and then cropped heavily!

Soon there will be leaves on all those trees and it'll be much harder to see the dawn. Or at least, to photograph it!
