Something Fishy

One of two weathervanes on the top of the old Billingsgate fish market which sits on the north side of the river between Tower and London Bridges.
When I was a kid it used to stink of fish, even for some time after the market closed. It moved out to bigger premises in east London in the early eighties.
Now it's a swish event space for hire for conferences etc and no longer smells.
