Proud Parent Alert

We were taking a trip to Ikea today to check out big boy beds, amongst other things. As if proving he was more than ready for the next step, Little D jumped into Miss A's bed, and got all cosy under the duvet. To be honest, he's not at all ready yet but we were just checking out the options for when the time's right. Big cousin Caitlin came along for the ride and we had a nice catch up (of sorts) over lunch before heading home to see Aunty Deborah.

Since being nappy-free during the holiday, Little D has been telling us when he's had a pee or poo in his nappy, very clever indeed. However, this evening he said 'pee pee' then took me to the toilet. I sat him on the smaller inset seat and we played with toys for 5 minutes then, amazingly, he did both a pee and a poo in the big toilet!

At precisely 19 months old today, it's a proud mummy/daddy alert moment for sure!!
