Waxholm Fortress Museum

Waxholm Fortress Museum - the archipelago's largest museum
museum depicting the military history of the island in 500 years. Here you can include the state of Kastellets bomb-proof vaults and see
how soldiers loaded a bomb cannon during the Crimean War, after the order issued in a minimum production or visit Kastellets horrible prison. You will also find a small exhibition about the fortress prisoners and Ytterby mine on Resarö, and a number of temporary exhibitions that vary from year to year.
