Half marathon bands

Today was Wimpole Estate Junior Parkrun's 100th run. It was a beautiful morning. The kids got their half marathon bands for having completed 11 junior Parkruns. I was volunteering and they kindly gave me a job at the end so I could hang around and see them get their bands, rather than being halfway across a field at a marshalling point.

After they had completed their runs, Jim took them off for a drink and cake while I went for a plod/run and then met them at the café. We all went for a walk before heading home.

Now Carys is having the longest bath known to humankind, Will and I are watching Attack of the Clones and we are all looking forward to roast chicken dinner.
