Bridge over the Darent

A lovely sunny day and we walked to the vineyard at shoreham (kent) for a bottle of their award winning rose and a platter of cheese.

My blip is of the old bridge that crosses the river Darent, and my extra is the cross on the hill taken from the vineyard. The cross was carved out of chalk on the hillside in1920 by villagers to commemorate the 50 local people killed in WW1.
