249/366 - Altrincham

After dropping madam off at school this morning I headed into Altrincham to get my hair done and to have a mooch around the shops. I walked past Altrincham Market - it wasn't opened today..... but I think the building is an impressive piece of architecture. When it is open it isn't as busy as it was when I was a child..... in fact the same could be said for the rest of Altrincham. A number of shops are shut, probably due to places like the TC attracting people away from the towns. It's a real shame. There is some facelift work going on I just hope these developments go some way to attract the people back to make it the way I remember it.
