Rainforest

We took the Sea to Sky Highway south to Vancouver stopping at the magnificent Shannon Falls on the way. In fact the whole drive was very pretty.

Nick & Pippa then took us to Lynn Canyon & Rice Lake, which was a blipper's paradise. It's an area of temperate coastal rainforest which we were lucky enough to see on a sunny day. Shafts of sunlight shone through the firs and pines, illuminating the bright green mosses, lichen & fungi. We explored about 13km.

I took a lot of photos and am indecisive as to what to blip so there'll be a few extras: Shannon Falls in the mist; a newt, reflections at Rice Lake.

The day finished at Nick & Pippa's for a friendly bbq gathering of 14.
