It didn't but he gave it a mighty good try before he dropped it.

I've found a goldfinch nest in some ivy on a tree and a treecreeper gathering spider's webs for its nest.  After a really sound sleep, that was a lovely start to the day  - didn't wake up too early either.

I've had a bath to try and sort my back but booked in a physio session this afternoon after little success - maybe I should still be on ibuprofen but two and a half weeks of them seemed long enough.

We've since taken Little Dog for lunch and some caffeine made me feel a lot better.
