I saw the news today - oh boy !

50 years ago this week the Beatles were recording Sgt Pepper's , I can't believe it 
This must be the first LP I ever bought .
This is not my actual record - I played my LPs to death and didn't look after them very well at all . I did love being able to follow the words and reading the sleeve notes . - all those facts to remember and impress my friends !( I didn't know anything about cars  etc !).
With the exception of Disraeli Gears ( I couldn't part with that ) my LPs went the way of the charity shop . I can understand the  new interest in vinyl but I am not going to become a record collector .
