Along the red brick path.....

.....grows a tiny world all of its own.

A world which is often trodden on, pecked upon, pooped on and sometimes covered entirely by leaves and garden matter but still it continues to survive. It battles on through the heat of long summer days, wind, rain, hail, frosty winter mornings and sometimes, just sometimes, completely buried under snow. It strives in the cracks, nooks and crannies of an uneven brick path creating a mass of green's and gold's through all seasons.

Today's blip was taken inbetween showers of passing rain, a chill in the air with a light breeze. With my tummy flat on the ground and the macro lens on board we are able to sample the glistening beauty of this tiny world.

I'm chuffed and very much delighted by your response to yesterday's Autumn leaves, just trying to find a little brightness on a very dull Autumn day. Thank you for your kind words, stars and hearts and my apologies for not being around as I continue to battle with my eyes, thank goodness the camera does the focusing.

Tuesday.....dull sky above but magic along the red brick path, the day we put our heat pump on as it was cold but not cold enough for the fire, passing showers brought a chilly breeze, pockets of sun were ever so brief. The forecasters tell us tomorrow will be the day for rain and lots of it...... ah, we'll see.
