With a good weather forecast I'd intended to be out early for a fell walk but after a sleepless night I changed my plan. 

Instead the car finally got washed ....... first time since it was done at it's service in November.. This  afternoon I walked along to the lake and up through Stagshaw Gardens (National Trust). 

A group from an activity centre had just arrived at Waterhead by canoe so I took the opportunity of some foreground interest.
