Coffee time

This was the last day of our visit to Spain and we travelled from Córdoba back to Málaga so we were well positioned for a very early flight back to Cardiff tomorrow morning.

The afternoon was spent over-indulging ourselves in coffee, cakes, fried fish, meatballs and beer!!

This is my wife enjoying a cafe con leche at the Cafe Central - a city centre establishment famous for its coffees.

In the background are stands that have been erected for Semana Santa, or Holy Week - probably the biggest series of events on the calendar for most towns and cities in this part of the world.

All through central Malaga, stands are being put up and banks of seats installed, and beautiful red drapes adorn the balconies of the apartments in the fashionable Calle Marqués de Larios.
