Bucket and spade time .... again!

Bare feet walking on stones and shells .... one tough wee lass. Her legs look blue with cold .... not surprising since she has just been paddling. 
I'm such a wimp  ....  I rarely paddle even in the summer .... the North Sea is VERY cold.

Plenty of people on the beach this afternoon .... walking dogs, playing beach games and I even spotted one adult huddled behind a windbreak while the children were digging in the sand.  Not so cold today but I still needed my padded jacket and woolly hat .... takes me a day or two to become acclimatised to the east coast chill.
